Grandparents month

September was a month full of visitors for our house and it started with a trip from my parents at the first of the month.
Among everything we did while they were here, one of our favorites was a hotdog (and marshmallow) roast at Dock Weiler Beach. When hotdogs, s'mores, airplanes, and an ocean sunset are involved, its pretty hard to go wrong:)

Lucy loves "PAPA!!!"
(you have to read that in a yelling voice, because that is how she says it).

Charlie got to learn the ropes of roasting a 'mallow.

It was a great night, all around.

We also made a trip to Disneyland (of course), while my parents were in town and as expected, it did not disappoint!

We ended the month with a visit from Brian's parents. We'd had so much fun doing our beach BBQ earlier in the month, that we decided it was a must for their trip as well. Unfortunately, we learned that the BBQ pits get snatched up much more quickly on weekends than on weekdays....duh. It was just too bad we didn't put that together before getting to the beach. Even still, we had a wonderful picnic (luckily we'd brought take-out instead of cold hotdogs) and the sunset still put on a great show.

We did another day at Disneyland...

a day in Solvang...

Cobble away, my sweet little one.

and just had a wonderful, wonderful time, in general:)

Thank you so much for making September such a fun month for us, Grandmas and Grandpas! It was a great one. We love you all!
