Viva Las Vegas...Business Trips!

Two days after getting into California, my dad's company (Brian is doing his internship there) sent Brian to Las Vegas for 3 days for a business conference and I got to tag along! Don't you just hate business trips?! We stayed at the Monte Carlo, a huge European-inspired hotel on the Strip, think Count of Monte Cristo, as the conference was being held there. After the conference, we had a great time exploring new restaurants, bowling with our good friends that live down there, buying BRIGHT PINK m&m's at the M&M Factory -- Brian let me pick the color:) -- and just spending time together! The one goal we had during this trip was to get our picture in front of the famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, but we didn't have a car and it would have been a HUGE walk, so we found a mini sign in a window and called it good:) We had a great time, but were relieved to get back to life as normal...well, as normal as it can get!
