(In a beautiful sweater crocheted for her by Grandma Karen.)1. She LOVES to talk and "sing" as we call it. She is the happiest baby I've ever known and, still, rarely cries...at all.
2. She has figured out (and is currently perfecting) the art of blowing raspberries. Cutest thing ever -- not to mention the wettest. Charlie thinks its the funniest thing in the world. Its very common 'round these parts to hear a long and wet series of raspberries by the princess, then a bout of incessant giggles from the boy, after which he giggle/sighs "baby!"
3. She started rolling from front to back about 2 months ago (shocking, and amazing!). She hasn't quite figured out how to roll from back to front though, on account that she goes into total relaxation mode once she's on her back -- she doesn't seem to see any reason to roll over. This has, unfortunately, caused a small flat spot on the back-right of her head. So the Dr. said no more back time for a while, which will really put a damper on rolling practice...
4. She is strong! With Lucy, the standing game quickly morphs into the jumping game and you can only pray that your arms can keep up with her energy. If you hold her under her arms and let her feet touch the floor, she will take very slow and adorable steps (something Charlie didn't do this early). She loves to watch her brother play and run around and I have a feeling that she is going to do everything she can to catch up to him - and she'll be trying too soon if you ask this selfish, baby-loving mama.
Alright...I can't just stop at 4.
5. She is still a wonderful cuddle-bug, a great eater, and champion sleeper, sleeping 12 hours straight through the night. She is a doll.
6. She is our princess in every way and we seriously cannot get enough of this beautiful, amazing, and enchanting little girl.
