Oh Boy, we love you.

I came across a list just now that I made in November. Its a list of things Charlie was doing then that either cracked us up, or that we knew we would always want to remember.
So in my weak efforts to immortalize my babies' childhoods, here is a look at Charlie when he was 27 months old (many of these continue to hold true now)...

• If something is big and/or strong (whether in reality, or just in Charlie's opinion), it is "beee-ig like a tiki man!" (in reference to the big, strong tiki men in the Tiki Room, his favorite Disneyland attraction).
• He calls Lucy "Baby Belle" -- a derivative of one of our nicknames for her, Lulubelle. But the best part of this is that if you ask him to say Lucy, or Lulu, or any of her nicknames, he says "Baby Belle." We can't tell if he thinks he is saying what we ask him to say, or if he just finds "Baby Belle" efficient enough to cover everything. (This new name for her is much improved on the personal scale as up until "Baby Belle", she was referred to on all accounts as "Baby").
  
• Brian is no longer referred to as Dada. He is now known as "Daddy Big Man." Totally serious - that is what Charlie calls him 100% of the time. We think it came from us prompting him to eat his food so he could be a big strong man like daddy. Brian doesn't really care where it came from though. He just loves it:)
• Everyone's house is "So & So's big house." For example, Charlie loves to play at "Ally's big house." He gets excited to visit "Grandma and Grandpa's big house." We all live at "Charlie's big house." Disneyland is "Mickey Mouse's big house." Even the Temple is referred to as "Jesus's big house."
• Every sentence the boy utters (and he talks in sentences - grammatically incorrect sentences that include babble from time to time, but sentences, nonetheless) starts and ends with the name of the person he is addressing. "Mama, please have milk now please, Mama?" (January update -- now, he throws a third "please" in at the end - how polite!).
• Any time he wakes up, he will tell you that he dreamed about puppies ("woof woofs") -- he has puppies on his crib sheet. (January update -- he now dreams about snowmen every night as we changed his crib sheet last month for winter.)

Charlie is such a wonderful, loving, and hilarious little boy -- we could not be luckier to have this little sweetheart in our family. We love you Charlie Boy!
