Movin' on up

Due to pending, and then cancelled, construction plans for our church building, Charlie and Lucy didn't start Sunbeams and "big girl" Nursery until January 29th. (While Lucy technically started nursery several months ago, she wasn't so much a fan and spent most of the time crying with a leader in the hall until they could find one of us to take her. As such, we opted for a "new year, new start" approach and declared January 29th her 'second first day of Nursery.' So far, so good.)

It was a very big day around here, and an exhausting one at that. So please learn from our mistake: when wanting to take a darling picture of your wonderful children on momentous occasions, do it BEFOREHAND. Can you tell from these awesome pictures that they were a little hammered after such a big day at church?
(And by way of an explanation for the elephant...Little Dumbo never
goes to church with us, but Charlie was so worn out after the block that once we were home, he wouldn't even let go of the poor pachyderm for 5 seconds. Poor little man. So much for a semi-normal, elephantless picture...)

And that's a wrap.

Thank goodness for naps and new Sunbeam crowns.
They can perk anyone right back up:)
