Cupcakes Anyone?

Last month, we were asked by our dearest friends, the Tibbitts, to make the cake for Brandon's birthday party. We decided to do cupcakes for several reasons -- 1. Brian gave me a super cute cupcake stand for Christmas that I'd never been able to use -- 2. Cupcakes would allow alot more variety in decoration creativity (24 different designs v. 1 big cake design) -- 3. Who doesn't love cupcakes?!

It was really fun to make them and we learned alot in the process as Brian has now mastered the art of frosting balloons and I got to use fondant for the first time ever!
